cartMini Privacy Policy

Information we collect and how we use it

In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:

Affiliates: When you sign up for a cartMini affiliate account, we ask you for personal information to obtain your cartMini shop. This information is strictly used to configure the shopping cart for use on your Web site and for cartMini to set up accounts payable for your revenue. We do not share this information with third parties.

End Users: When you purchase products through a cartMini affiliated shop we collect all data necessary to process your order such as your name, billing address, credit card information, etc. Transactions are encrypted on our secure server and your credit card number is purged leaving only the last four digits as a reference once the transaction is processed. This adds an extra layer of security. We do not store credit card numbers. The rest of the order information collected is stored for our order reference only and is not shared with any third party sources, nor is it shared with the affiliate from where the order originated.

If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Policy and/or in the specific service notices, we will offer you a way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes. We will not collect or use sensitive information for purposes other than those described in this Policy and/or in the specific service notices, unless we have obtained your prior consent.

You can decline to submit personal information to any of our services, in which case cartMini may not be able to provide those services to you.

If cartMini becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We may share with registered cartMini affiliates certain pieces of aggregated, non-personal information, such as the number of users who purchased a particular product, for example, or how many users clicked on a particular shop category. Such information does not identify you individually.

Changes to this policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most changes to be minor. In the event which the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for cartMini affiliates, email notification of Policy changes). Each version of this Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date. Prior versions of this Privacy Policy will be made available for review.
